On the first weekend of October, the famous Tremé neighborhood will host its second annual Tremé Festival. All weekend you can enjoy the local music and food of this cherished New Orleans neighborhood that people come from all over the world to see.
Tremé Fest is a donation-based event, created last year to raise money for the beloved St. Augustine Catholic Church. The festival will continue helping the church and other historical non-profits in the community. This year’s Tremé Fest will be held on the streets bordering the church, Henriette Delille, Treme’ and Gov. Nicholls Streets. It is FREE and open to the public.
If you really want to experience NOLA's unique history and heritage that is New Orleans, you won’t want to miss this event!
